A Number Of Ministers Attend Limited Meetings At Prabowo's Residence In Kertanegara

JAKARTA - A number of members of the Red and White Cabinet arrived at President Prabowo Subianto's private residence on Jalan Kertanegara Number 4, Selong Village, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta, Sunday, to attend a limited meeting.

Several officials who attended included Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Mendikti Saintek) Brian Yuliarto, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Mohammad Herindra, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and TNI Commander General Agus Subianto.

They arrived at around 15.00 WIB using an official vehicle, across Kertanegara Street which was heavily guarded by officers and entered the President's private residence.

Minister Bahlil, who arrived first, waved at the media crew who were waiting at the end of the road.

One of the topics in the limited meeting discussed strengthening the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Previously, Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said that President Prabowo gave special tasks to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemendikti Saintek) to strengthen the development of human resources in the STEM sector.

"The Minister of Education and Technology, Saintek, was given the task of the President to prepare human resources, especially in the STEM sector," said Prasetyo after a limited meeting at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, last Tuesday.

In addition, the President has also assigned the relevant ministries to conduct research on technology that has the potential to support national energy and food self-sufficiency programs.

"Especially for food self-sufficiency, the President has assigned the Minister of Education and Technology Saintek to develop seed technology, as well as mineral processing technology and its derivatives from natural resources owned by Indonesia," said Prasetyo.
