Deputy Chancellor for Academics Unikaltar, Sholehah, said the activity was a tangible form of the campus' contribution to strengthening the economy of environmentally-based communities.
"We want the public to see that waste is not just waste, but new economic opportunities that improve welfare and environmental awareness," he said, Thursday, October 16.
In addition to recycling training, Unikaltar also displays research results across faculties that support sustainable agriculture, alternative energy, and clean water resource management.
