Governor Of Kaltara Wins Export Supporting Regional Head Award At The 2025 Primaniyarta Awards

Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal Arifin Paliwang received a prestigious award as regional head of Export Supporters at the 2025 Primaryarta and Primaduta Awards.

JAKARTA - Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal Arifin Paliwang received a prestigious award as regional head of Export Supporting at the Primaryarta and Primaduta Awards 2025.

The award was handed over directly by the Minister of Trade Budi Santoso at the opening of the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2025 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Banten, Wednesday, October 15.

This award is given as a form of appreciation from the central government for regional heads who have succeeded in making a real contribution to increasing exports and strengthening the competitiveness of regional products in the global market.

Minister of Trade Budi Santoso explained that the Primaniyarta Awards are the highest award from the Indonesian government to the best exporters and regional heads who have a strong commitment to sustainable export development.

"Premaniyarta awards are not just a symbol of achievement, but clear evidence of the contribution of export actors and regional heads in strengthening national trade. We don't want to just be spectators in the global market, but also the main players who determine the direction of world trade," said Trade Minister Budi Santoso.

In this year's event, Governor Zainal became the only regional head in Kalimantan to win the award. The award affirms the active role of the Kaltara Provincial Government in creating a conducive business climate, encouraging downstreaming of regional superior products, and opening up export access for MSME players and local industries.

In addition to the category of regional heads, the 2025 Primaniyarta award was also given to a number of outstanding national exporters, including PT Growth Asia (Exporter of Prospective Markets), PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (Exporter of Manufacturing Industry Products), CV Decorus (Renewable Exporters).

Then PT Sekar Laut Tbk (Exportor of Halal Products and Modest Fashion), PT Agate Internasional (Sekasa Exporters), PT Kinema Systrans Multimedia (Digital Goods Exporters), and PT Lautan Natural Crimerindo (Innovative Product Exporters).

Meanwhile, the recipients of the 2025 Primaduta Awards consist of international buyers partners and Indonesian diaspora figures who play an active role in expanding the export market, such as the Indonesian Ambassador to the Philippines Agus Wijoyo, the Indonesian Ambassador to the UK Desra Believe, and the Indonesian Consul General in Osaka Jon Cahyanto Bustami.

On the same occasion, the Primaraniyarta Lifetime Achievement Awards 2025 award was awarded to PT Biofarma Persero and PT Toyota Manufacturing Indonesia for its long-term contribution to supporting national exports.

The 2025 Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) event carries the theme Discover Indonesia's Excellence: Trade Beyond Boundaries, with the participation of 1,619 participants and 8,045 buyers from 130 countries. The government targets trade transactions worth USD 16.5 billion from these activities.

Exhibitions are divided into three main zones of food and agricultural products, manufacturing products, as well as services and lifestyles. In addition to exhibitions, TEI also presents a number of supporting activities such as business matching, business gatherings, and international business forums.

"TEI is a tangible manifestation of the implementation of the national downstream and industrialization agenda, as well as expanding Indonesia's role in the global supply chain towards the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045," he concluded.
