Prabowo Attends Forbes Global CEO Conference 2025

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto attended the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2025 in Jakarta, to give his views on the Indonesian economy in a special interview session with Forbes Media Leader Steve Forbes, during a conference summit entitled "A Meeting of Minds".

President Prabowo's arrival at the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2025 was greeted by Steve Forbes, who then escorted the president to the venue for dinner.

President Prabowo wears dark brown batik, as well as Steve Forbes who also wears batik tops for an interview session, especially with President Prabowo.

Reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 15, President Prabowo was accompanied by Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, who is also CEO of Danantara, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, then there is also President Prabowo's younger brother, Hashim S. Djojohadikusumo, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya N. Bakrie, CIO Danantara Pandu P. Sjahrir, and Chairman of the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) Shinta Widjaja Kamdani.

At the dinner, President Prabowo sat at the same table as Steve Forbes, and Forbes Asia CEO William Adamopoulos. The president, during the evening meal, was seen chatting with Steve Forbes.

After dinner, President Prabowo and his entourage shifted to the venue for a special dialogue session which is the highlight of the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2025 in Jakarta. On stage, Steve Forbes will explore President Prabowo's views and thoughts on the Indonesian economy and the global geoeconomic situation.

An invitation to President Prabowo to attend the Forbes Global CEO Conference 2025 was delivered directly by Steve Forbes to Jakarta on July 23, 2025. Steve, who is a citizen of the United States and is known to have settled in New Jersey, USA, flew to Jakarta, to invite President Prabowo directly.

At the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, after submitting the invitation, Steve explained why he invited President Prabowo because the progress made by Indonesia became an important record for the world community.

"The progress that Indonesia has achieved, and more importantly Indonesia will be an important note for the world community, and I think it will be an inspiration for other countries. The policies made by your President (President Prabowo, ed.) are an inspiration," said Steve Forbes.

Steve also hopes that President Prabowo can talk about his deregulation policies that make the business climate more open and conducive.

"He made rapid progress in deregulation, agricultural products increased, not to mention there is a eradication of corruption which makes business smoother and easier in Indonesia," said Steve.

Forbes Global CEO Conference was first held by Forbes magazine in 2001 in Singapore, and the conference was regularly held in different countries each year. Jakarta once hosted the Forbes CEO of the Global Forum in 2016.

Forbes Global CEO Conference, which was held from October 14 to October 15, presented a number of CEOs and innovators from various sectors, including from Indonesia there is the Minister of Investment and CEO of Danantara Rosan P.
