The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said four witnesses in the corruption case of digitizing PT Pertamina's public refueling station (SPBU) did not fulfill the investigator's summons today. Two of them did not provide confirmation.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the two witnesses who did not confirm their presence were Aya Natalia, an employee of TRG Investama and John Tangkey, President Director of PT Hanindo Citra. They should have been questioned at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"Witnesses were not present without confirmation," Budi said in a written statement, Monday, October 13.

Meanwhile, two other witnesses, continued Budi, have confirmed their absence from investigators.

The two are Iskandarsyah as Business Development Head of PT Hanindo Citra and Suhendra Kurniawan who is the Financial Manager of PT Hanindo Citra.

"And apply for rescheduling," he said.

When asked about the absence of these four witnesses, Budi did not say much. Including the question of the possibility of collusion to avoid examination.

In essence, the four witnesses summoned today were not present. Two without information, the other two asked for a reschedule, "he said.

Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Pertamina (Persero). This time, the connection with the digitization project of public refueling stations (SPBU) allegedly occurred in 2019-2023.

To investigate this case, the KPK has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named but have not been officially announced.

From the information gathered, the three suspects are DR and W from PT Telkom and Elvizar as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi.

The three suspects are suspected of causing losses to the state. This is because it is suspected that there was too much to pay for in the project which began when Pertamina imposed a policy of using the quick response (QR) code for customers who bought subsidized fuel oil (BBM).
