Stealing Slovakian Tourist Money Millions Of Rupiah, Bungalow Employees In Nusa Penida Arrested

KLUNGKUNG - A teenager with the initials IKAP (18), stole money from a tourist or foreign national (WNA) from Slovakia, Lukas Baranek (30).

The victim lost money while staying at a flowerlow in Sakti Village, Nusa Penida District, Klungkung Regency, on Sunday (5/10). And the perpetrator of IKAP is an employee of a flower.

"The victim lost 400 euros, which is around Rp. 7,800,822.08," said Head of Public Relations of the Klungkung Police, AKP Agus Widiono, Wednesday, October 8.

Chronologically, on Sunday (5/10) at around 09.00 WITA, the victim and his wife left the flowers for the streets. Furthermore, at around 20.00 WITA, the victim came and entered his room and then the victim looked confused and dismantled his suitcase and reported losing his money.

The owner of the Bungalow who knew about this immediately reported the incident to the Nusa Penida Police.

From the report, the police finally processed the crime scene (TKP) and examined witnesses, as well as traced a number of suspected people.

Furthermore, a day later the police arrested the perpetrators of IKAP at his home in the Banjar Angar area, Klumpu Village, Nusa Penida District, Klungkung.

"And after intensive examination, the perpetrator admitted that he took the victim's money while serving as a cleaning service at the Bungalow," he said.

"The perpetrator then handed over evidence in the form of a number of Euro currencies taken by the perpetrators. The perpetrator was then secured and taken to the Nusa Penida Police for further investigation," he said.
