The Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Team of the East Java Regional Police (Polda Jatim) again identified six bodies of victims of the collapse of the Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) building in Sidoarjo.

3. Mohammad Fajri Ali (14), a resident of Kalimas Baru I Gang 365, Customs Cantian, Surabaya.
4. Muhammad Nasi Hudin (15), a resident of Riding Panjang Hamlet, Belinyu, Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands.
5. Achmad Suwaifi (15), a resident of Galba Village, Panjalinan, Blega, Bangkalan.
6. Mochammad Haikal Ridwan (14), a resident of West Leke Hamlet, Sendang Dajah, Labang, Bangkalan.
With the addition of the six victims, a total of 40 victims have been identified from 67 body bags received by the Bhayangkara Hospital of the East Java Police.
"Currently the DVI operation is still ongoing. Our team continues to deepen the antemortem (AM) and postmortem (PM) data to ensure all victims can be identified," said Khusnan.
As of Wednesday (8/10) at 19.00 WIB, the East Java Provincial Health Office reported that the number of Victims of Ambruk Building at Al Khoziny Sidoarjo Islamic Boarding School reached 165 people and 5 body parts had not been identified.
The 160 victims include Inpatients (3 people), Patients have returned (100 people), the victims came home without needing treatment (1 person), and Died (61 people).
