3 Suspects In The Election squirrel Case In North Jakarta/ Photo; IST

Three suspected jumping squirrels (Bajilo) were arrested by the North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim Opsnal Unit Team around the Pos 9 Koja red light, North Jakarta on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

From the hands of the three suspects with the initials AA, HA and RA, the police confiscated pieces of stolen iron.

The three perpetrators of Koja residents were arrested after carrying out the theft of iron in the cargo of a passing truck.

Furthermore, the perpetrator and the evidence were secured to the North Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters for further investigation.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar, said the theft took place at the red light in front of Pos 9, Jalan Raya Pelabuhan, RW 04, Koja District, North Jakarta.

"On October 7, 2025 at around 17.00 WIB, the Opsnal Team of the Resmob Unit received information on social media Instagram related to a video of iron theft by several people against an iron truck at the Pos 9 red light," said Kompol Onkoseno when confirmed, Tuesday, October 7, evening.

Following up on this information, the North Jakarta Metro Police Resmob Unit Opsnal Team visited the crime scene (TKP).

"We have secured three perpetrators around the Pos 9 Koja red light along with evidence," he said.

A number of items confiscated were viral video recordings to pieces of iron.

Meanwhile, from the suspect with the initials AA, evidence was confiscated of 1 white shoe, 1 green backpack with the words Rebok, IDR 60 thousand in cash from the sale of Aqua bottles, 1 trousers, 1 black shirt.

The evidence confiscated from the suspect with the initials HA was 1 red backpack, 1 black hat with the words Consina, 1 navy and white blue striped shirt, 1 trousers.

Meanwhile, from the suspect's initials RA, 1 black bag was confiscated, 1 navy blue hat with the words 'team', 1 black trousers and 1 black shirt.

Currently, the three perpetrators are still under intensive investigation at the North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim Resmob Unit. The police are still investigating the roles of the three perpetrators in order to uncover the Bajilo network in the North Jakarta area.

Meanwhile, the three perpetrators were charged with Article 363 and/or Article 368 of the Criminal Code regarding theft and/or extortion.
