JAKARTA - United States President Donald Trump announced that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament will be held at the White House on June 14, 2026.
"On June 14 next year, we will have a big UFC fight at the White House, right in his yard," Trump said during the Naval Day Parade in Virginia, Sunday, October 5, reported by ANTARA from Sputnik.
Trump said the event would be broadcast live from the White House to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. That date also coincided with Trump's 80th birthday.
Until this news was published, there had been no official permit or logistical details confirmed regarding the implementation of the fight.
UFC CEO Dana White previously said the company would spend around $700,000 to improve grass conditions in the White House yard after the event.
