There Is Already A JAKI Channel, Pramono Surprised Residents Attack His Instagram DM Complaints About Jakarta's Problems

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed his concern over the number of residents who sent messages or direct messages (DM) to his personal Instagram account with the contents of complaints on various problems in Jakarta.

In fact, so far, the DKI Provincial Government has the Latest Jakarta (JAKI) which is a complaint channel that residents can complain about to be followed up.

Special Staff to the Governor of DKI Jakarta for Social Communication Chico Hakim said that Pramono was surprised that Pramono was expressed in a plenary leadership meeting attended by all officials of the DKI Provincial Government.

"The governor is more 'how come today someone is still reporting to my social media'. This means that this is something that is clogged, isn't it," Chico said at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, October 6.

Pramono, continued Chico, often reads directly the messages he received and responds to them. To ensure that residents' complaints can be resolved, Pramono emphasized that his subordinates should simplify reporting procedures and follow-up procedures so that problems are resolved immediately.

"Mr. Gub is quite strict, quite firm in saying that this must be a priority. Because if we want to talk about a global city, a city that in the country adheres to democratic principles, the most important thing is to follow up on what is criticism and reports from residents," said Chico.

Every report released by residents through JAKI, Pramono ordered sub-district heads in each region to coordinate the execution of resolving these problems.

On that occasion, Pramono ordered the ranks to follow up on all reports by increasing coordination between regional work units (SKPD) so that the implementation was more efficient.

"You remind me again that cross-sectoral cooperation, cross-agency, must have a steady synergy. Because sometimes this unexecuted report, the resolution, is mostly because coordination is not good," said Chico.
