Public Hope For The TNI At The 80th Anniversary: Hopefully It Will Get Closer To The People

JAKARTA - Thousands of people were also present at the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) which was held at Monas, Jakarta, Sunday, October 5. The public hopes that the TNI will be closer to the people and professional in carrying out its duties as a citizen.

"I hope that the TNI will be closer to the people and more advanced. Hopefully, the more professional it will be, the cooler it will be," said three students who witnessed the celebration of the TNI's 80th Anniversary at the Monas crossing, Jakarta, Sunday, October 5.

"Congratulations to the 80th Anniversary of the TNI, the hope is that it will be closer to the people, more successful and victorious," continued a number of mothers.

There are also people who hope that the main weapon system (alutsista) of the TNI will also be more and more modern. This is in order to maintain Indonesia's sovereignty.

"The hope is that it will be more victorious, more prime, more defense equipment so that Indonesia will be safer," said one resident.

For information, the TNI's 80th Anniversary at the Monas crossing today will last until 15.00 WIB. Public transportation is still ongoing and people can enjoy mass transportation such as LRT, MRT and Transjakarta with a promo rate of TNi's Anniversary of IDR 80, of course.

Previously, the TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto revealed that his party had prepared a number of door prizes for people who watched the TNI's 80th Anniversary peak event.

"There are motorbikes, 200 motorbikes, then there are refrigerators, then TV. I think it's good for the community," said General Agus when praying together at Monas, Central Jakarta, Saturday, October 4.

Agus explained that people only need to collect coupons to get door prizes. Winners, he said, would be drawn randomly.

"Later, the coupons can be collected, and the coupons can be chosen randomly for door prizes," he explained.

Agus also ensured that all residents of the community who attended had the opportunity to get hundreds of motorbikes. Apart from motorbikes, people also have the opportunity to get television, refrigerators and there will be distribution of basic necessities and free meals for residents who come.

"You can be lucky to get motorbikes, refrigerators, televisions. There is free food, distribution of basic necessities, and defense equipment exhibitions, so people can see it for free," said Agus.
