2 Days Lost In Ciliwung River, Ferdiz Alfabel Found Lifeless SAR Team

JAKARTA - A young man named Ferdiaz Alfabel (20) who had been missing for 2 days drowned in the Ciliwung River, was finally found by the joint SAR Team on Friday, October 3, 2025.

"The victim was found on the 3rd day of search. It was found at 07.30 WIB and was immediately taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital," said Head of the East Jakarta BPBD Korwil Task Force, Ali when confirmed.

The incident began when the victim and three of her friends swam together in the Ciliwung river on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

After that, take a break on the banks of the Ciliwung River. The victim and his friend then returned to swimming.

But suddenly the victim suddenly cramped in the stomach. The victim was helped by his colleague but instead drowned and disappeared.

The search for victims was carried out on Wednesday by 5 joint SAR teams up to 8 kilometers away but the victims were not found.

The second search was also carried out and the results were nil. Then a third search was carried out on Friday morning.

"The victim was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a young man named Ferdiaz (20) reported missing drowned on Jalan AMD 28, RT 04/05, Balekambang Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta, Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

The incident was then reported to the East Jakarta Damkar. The Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officer who received the report immediately carried out a search effort starting at 16.12 WIB.

A total of 10 personnel were deployed to the location to search for victims.

According to residents' information, the incident began when the victim and his friend took a bath at that time.

"Then the victim was carried away by the current. The victim tried to save himself but instead was in a tight position in the middle. Not long after, the victim was no longer visible," said a resident at the location.
