Collision Of Tiang, Motorcyclist In Daan Mogot Pental To Death On The Spot

JAKARTA - A motorcyclist died in a single accident on Jalan Daan Mogot, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Thursday morning, October 2.

The victim, with the initials JP (40), died at the scene after the motorbike he was driving lost control and hit a pole and fell into a ditch.

"It's true, it happened on Jalan Daan Mogot to the west, precisely near the motorcycle repair shop, the Cengkareng area," said Head of the Law Enforcement Unit (Kanit Gakkum) of the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas), AKP Joko Siswanto.

The accident began when the victim, who was riding a motorcycle with police number B 6294 UXZ, drove from west to east on Jalan Daan Mogot.

"Arriving near the location, the motorbike being driven lost control, suddenly swerved to the left and hit the pole," said Joko.

As a result of a hard impact with a pole, the victim immediately bounced and fell into a ditch on the side of the road. The victim died instantly from injuries from the collision that occurred during the accident.

"The driver died at the scene (TKP). The victim suffered injuries to the head and chest with bruises," said Joko.

The victim is a man who works as a private employee and has his address in the Kemiri area, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

His body has been evacuated to the Tangerang District Hospital for a post-mortem process.

The police have also processed the crime scene and secured evidence in the form of a motorcycle belonging to the victim and his STNK.

"The next step is for us to look for witnesses around the location to explore the exact cause of this accident," he said.
