JAKARTA - The TNI will introduce new field official clothing (PDL) in the 80th Anniversary of the TNI which will be centered at the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta on 5 October.
The uniforms of all TNI dimensions are greener than the previous PDL.
"This was previously from the decision of the Commander in Chief, we will use this with the Deputy Chief of Staff and later on October 5, all of them will use this," said Deputy TNI Commander, General Tandyo Budi Revita, at the Ministry of Defense Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 1, quoted from Tempo.co.
This PDL change has been stated in the Commander's Decree (Keppang) dated September 27, 2025.
According to Tandyo, the color selection in this TNI PDL will be effective in efforts to disguise soldiers in the forest.
"So if we go into the forest and so on, this is more disguised," said Tadyo.
