PPP Court Affirms Agus Suparmanto Is The General Chair Of Sah, Denies There Is Dualism

JAKARTA - The United Development Party (PPP) Court emphasized that there was no dualism of leadership after the implementation of the X Congress which was held at the end of last September. The Court also ratified Agus Suparmanto as General Chair of PPP for the 2025-2030 period.

"The Court believes there is no dualism, we must look at it objectively," said PPP Chief Justice Ade Irfan Pulungan in his statement in Jakarta, Thursday, October 2.

The statement was made in response to the issue of the dualism of the PPP leadership after a congress marked by internal dynamics and inter-sympatisan clashes.

Ade Irfan asked all cadres and sympathizers to see problems with a cool head and put the party's interests above all else.

According to him, the current focus of PPP is to strengthen the network to the grassroots to ensure that they qualify for parliament in the 2029 Legislative Election.

"We don't want a perspective that sees divisions in PPP. Difference is a blessing, but in the interest of raising PPP, we have to see clearly in the future. The challenge is how PPP can qualify for Senayan and again color the national political scene," said Ade Irfan.

The PPP Party Court acknowledged that Agus Suparmanto was elected by acclamation at a congress attended by participants from the DPW, DPC, and other representatives.

"Today PPP, God willing, under the leadership of the results of the X Congress, Mr. Agus Suparmanto. Hopefully this is Allah SWT's way to raise PPP's degree to perform better in national politics," he said.

Previously, in the PPP X Congress, three names of candidates for general chairman appeared, namely Mardiono, Agus Suparmanto, and Husnan Bey Fanani. However, after the congress, the three had claimed to be the General Chair of PPP for the 2025 '30 period.
