The Executor Of Thieves In The JIEP Pulogadung Area Was Arrested By The Police, A Recidivist Who Has Acted 6 Times In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Cakung Police managed to apprehend a robbery executor who acted in the JIEP Pulogadung area, Jalan Pulo Kambing Raya, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

"The perpetrator was caught on behalf of FL (23). The perpetrator is a recidivist, his confession has acted 6 times with a similar case," said Cakung Police Chief, Kompol Widodo, Thursday, September 30, 2025.

The police chief explained that the perpetrators had carried out 6 acts of robbery in a number of areas in Jakarta.

"The confession of the perpetrator twice (role) at the TKP (the same location), then once in Cilincing, North Jakarta and twice in Kwitang, Central Jakarta and once in the JIEP area," he said.

As a result of the incident, the victim with the initials PSSK (41) suffered a stab wound to his back. The victim then made a report to the Cakung Police.

"The perpetrator was arrested 2 days later, arrested in his rented Rawa Bebek area still in the Ujung Menteng area," he said.

Currently, the police are still pursuing three other perpetrators who are still at large.

"The suspect with the initials AP (DPO), WH (DPO) and another suspect is not yet known. We are still pursuing (the DPO perpetrator). Hopefully in the near future he will be caught," he said.

Meanwhile, the evidence confiscated from the suspect's initials FL was the helem, sickle and trousers used during the theft.

For his actions, the suspect FL was charged with Article 365 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 12 years in prison.

"We urge the public, if they go at night or it is still dark, avoid dark places, find a bright way. Then be alert if anyone follows or is followed," he said.
