JAKARTA - Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas, responded to the chaos at the United Development Party (PPP) Congress X which resulted in a leadership dualism, namely the Mardiono and Agus Suparmanto camps. Supratman said that his party would see which camp had met the Articles of Association (AD/ART) in the management registration process.

"While I have not checked the registration process at the Ministry of Law, maybe it has been included. We will definitely conduct research related to the validity documents of the implementation," said Supratman at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 30.

"Yes, we put it in the Articles of Association/Household Budget, later we will see who fulfills the Articles of Association/Household Budget," he continued.

To his knowledge, there is a registration file that is included in the Directorate General of AHU. However, his party has not decided anything because it has not checked whose camp has registered.

"So I don't know yet, but what is certain is that the government, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, will definitely check whether the implementation of the National Conference is in accordance with the AD / ART. Who is in accordance with that, we will confirm it," said Supratman.

Regarding the chaos that occurred in the implementation of the congress, Supratman said that the government did not interfere. However, the Gerindra politician hopes that the two camps can resolve problems within the party before obtaining a valid PPP management decree.

"But I hope that it can be resolved internally," said Supratman.

It is known that the X PPP Congress gave birth to two claims from the leadership of the Kaaba Party. Both are the camp of former Minister of Trade under President Joko Widodo, Agus Suparmanto, and the incumbent candidate Mardiono.

Kubu Mardiono claims that his champion has been elected by acclamation to lead Parta Kabah for the period 2025-2030.

The day after, Agus Suparmanto's camp also stated that Agus was elected by acclamation to lead PPP in the next five years. Agus was elected by acclamation by the majority of participants who did not leave the X Congress arena at the Mercure Hotel, Ancol, on Saturday, September 28.
