Will Connect MRT To Tangsel, Pramono Involves Private

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed that his party will involve the private sector in adding the Jakarta MRT route to the South Tangerang area. Later, the route will be connected from Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.

"So yesterday in Tangsel, it was only discussed with the private sector, because in South Tangerang it was his choice with the private sector," said Pramono in the Gambir area, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 29.

In planning the extension of the route to South Tangerang, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will involve the local government. However, currently Pramono does not know how much investment is needed in building the route.

"Now it is in the calculation phase, later when it is finished we will convey it," he said.

Some time ago, Pramono targeted the extension of the Jakarta MRT route from Lebak Bulus to the Tangerang area, Banten, to be realized five years from now.

"I imagine, for example, in the next 4-5 years we will have started connecting from Pondok Labu to Banten. Whether to Tangerang or South Tangerang," Pramono said at Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 9.

In line with that, the DKI Provincial Government is building the MRT Jakarta phase 2A route with the HI Roundabout route to Kota. It is targeted that the Integrated Moda Raya route will be completed in 2027.

"The year 2029 will be completed until Ancol. Well, before Ancol is finished, we will start a new route from Banten. I think this will be a progress in transportation in Jakarta," he said.
