Romy assessed that Agus Suparmanto was eligible as a candidate for general chairman, and had a PPP member card and had experience in executive, legislative and judicial institutions. The PPP X Congress Committee has also examined KTA Agus Suparmanto in the first plenary session to the eighth congress.

Rommy said that Agus and 12 formatur were given 30 days to arrange for the new PP management.

Regarding this, Agus Suparmanto said that he would immediately register his party's new management with the Ministry of Law.

"We will do it immediately, register with the Ministry of Law," said Agus.

Profile Agus Suparmanto is the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia during the second term of President Joko Widodo's leadership, namely the 2019-2024 period. However, Agus did not hold the position long. He was appointed by Jokowi as Minister of Trade on October 23, 2019 and was removed on December 22, 2020.
