PANDEGLANG - A video showing unscrupulous principals (Kepsek) and teachers at SD Negeri 2 Ciodeng, Pandeglang, having karaoke during study hours, has gone viral on social media in the last few days.

The video, which was widely circulated on Instagram, was allegedly recorded on Wednesday last week. In the recording, a man who is referred to as the principal and a female teacher who is engrossed in singing and hugging, even though at that time the lesson hours were still ongoing.

Both of them appeared to be wearing official uniforms, holding hands, until occasionally female teachers hugged people from behind. The karaoke device used is said to be a smart TV for central government assistance.

Secretary of the Pandeglang Education, Youth and Sports Office (Disdikpora), Nono Suparno confirmed the incident.

"Yes, that's right, but it has been handled by the internal relevant sector," said Nono when confirmed by reporters, Sunday, September 28.

Even so, Nono admitted that he did not know further developments.

"I don't know what the progress is. Try asking the BPK field," he said.

Until this news was revealed, the head of the primary school development (BPK) Disdikpora Pandeglang and the unscrupulous teachers suspected of being involved had not provided information.

Previously, a celebrity and member of the DPR, Rieke Diah Pitaloka, was disappointed with the irresponsible behavior of a number of unscrupulous teachers. The reason is that the school smart TV provided by President Prabowo Subianto in the education digitization program was actually misused for karaoke.

Rieke's disappointment was conveyed through his personal Instagram account, @riekediahp. He re-uploaded a viral video showing two teachers enjoying karaoke using a smart TV in a teacher's room.

"Recently, a viral video circulated about unscrupulous teachers who used President Prabowo's smart tv. Instead of being used as a means of teaching and learning, the smart TV was actually used by unscrupulous teachers for karaoke," Rieke wrote in his upload.
