Eight people were killed and 35 others injured after a fire broke out at a clothing factory in northern Egypt's Gharbia province.

Egypt's Ministry of Health said it sent 26 ambulances with complete equipment to the location of the blaze, which occurred in the Yamani area of El-Mahalla El-KUBra district on Friday, September 26 morning.

As reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, the ambulance team transferred 35 injured people to the Mahalla General Hospital, where they received the necessary medical treatment.
