Land Dispute Session In Kalideres Continues, Judge Checks Directly To Location

JAKARTA - The land dispute trial in the Tegal Alur area, Kalideres, West Jakarta has again attracted public attention. This time, the trial with a local inspection agenda (PS) which was held on Friday, September 26, the West Jakarta District Court (PN) with related parties, including elements of the village government and legal counsel for both parties visited the location.

The head of the defendant's Legal Team, Tuti Susilawati, explained that direct examination in the field was an important step to clarify the disputed land boundary. He emphasized that the plaintiff's claim to the land was baseless.

In line with Tuti, another defendant's attorney, Fery Kilikilly, highlighted the escape of the identity of the plaintiff.

"Until now it is not clear who exactly is the buyer. Even during the trial, the plaintiff was unable to show in detail the boundaries of the land they claimed," he said.

Fery added that his party is ready to present additional evidence before the trial continues on the conclusion agenda.

"We want the judge to decide this case based on the facts of the field and justice. As long as the evidence shows this land belongs to Sarana Jaya, we will continue to defend Jafar's rights," he said.

On the other hand, Jafar's attorney, Junaedi added that the defendant's extended family would stand tall to support the struggle. He also mentioned indications that the land in question had been included in the acquisition program in the 1980s.

Meanwhile, from the plaintiff's camp, Monang CS assessed that local examinations were an important part of seeking justice.

"Today we are both witnessing the condition of the field with the panel of judges. This process is important so that the boundaries of land can be clearer," he said.

The plaintiff also hopes that the panel of judges can consider objectively the results of the field examination.

"We leave it entirely to the judge. We hope that the decision will truly bring justice and uphold the rule of law," Monang added.

The next trial is scheduled to take place next week with an agenda for submitting conclusions from both parties. After that, the panel of judges will determine the final decision that many parties have been waiting for, considering that this case has long been in the spotlight of local residents.

On the same occasion, Jafar as the defendant in front of the Panel of Judges admitted that from the start he only rode 3 cows to be sold on holidays and did not admit that the land was controlled.

"My only ride in the sale was known to RW and even RW. So I once again emphasize that the land he uses belongs to BUMD, namely Sarana Jaya," said Jafar.
