KPK Will Check Benyamin Davnie's Wealth Report After Rolex Watch Becomes A Highlight

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will check the report on the assets of the state administrator (LHKPN) Mayor of South Tangerang, Benyamin Davnie. This step was taken after his Rolex watch was highlighted by the Anti-Corruption School Alumni Association (IKA SAKTI) Tangerang.

"From this information, we will check whether there is a price or asset that has not been reported in the LHKPN," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters quoted on Friday, September 26.

Budi said this information was a real role for the community in efforts to monitor compliance with LHKPN reporting by state officials.

In addition, the anti-corruption commission will also monitor the regional budget (APBD) of South Tangerang City.

Monitoring was carried out after the viral video uploaded by Actress Leony Vitria Hartanti. He revealed the contents of the South Tangerang City Regional Budget which according to him was not in favor of the people.

In the video, Leony mentions the budget for the purchase of office stationery of Rp. 38 billion and the cost of purchasing paper and cover is written at Rp. 6 billion.

Then there is also official travel costs reaching Rp. 117 billion in a year and the cost of souvernir reaches tens of billions. Meanwhile, the allocation for road repairs is only Rp. 731 million.

"KPK through coordination and supervision tasks will carry out monitoring through MCSP, especially in planning and budgeting areas," he said.

"This is to encourage that every use of the budget and regional development can be carried out effectively and really have a real impact on improving the quality of public services and the welfare of the community," he continued.

The matter of Benjamin Davnie's Rolex watch was also discussed by content creators with the Instagram account @luckchan. There are two luxury watches owned by the Golkar Party politician and the price reaches Rp. 400 million.

However, the luxury watch was not recorded in Benjamin's wealth report. Launching the e-LHKPN page, he has a total assets of IDR 6.1 billion.

The LHKPN was reported by Benjamin to initially serve as Mayor of South Tangerang, on July 9, 2025.

Of the total assets, Benjamin is recorded as having four assets in the form of land and buildings with a total price of Rp4.35 billion. Then, four vehicles with a total price of Rp660 million.

He is also recorded as having other movable prices worth IDR 170 million as well as cash and cash equivalents of IDR 1.03 billion. Benjamin but recorded debt ownership of IDR 116.5 million.
