7 Students Of SMAN 15 Tanjung Priok Have Returned From Hospital After MBG Toxics

JAKARTA - Seven students of SMAN 15, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta who experienced nausea after eating Free Nutrition (MBG) on Tuesday, September 23, have returned from the hospital and returned to their normal activities.

"It is true yesterday that we received information that seven students were suspected of being poisoned and we immediately directed them to take them to the Tanjung Priok Hospital for treatment," said Assistant for Administration and People's Welfare of the North Jakarta City Government, Muhammad Andri, Thursday, September 25.

The Jakut City Government immediately carried out the handling, while the results of the examination of the seven children were handed over to the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for follow-up.

From the information received from schools, of the 641 servings of food provided by SPPG in the Sunter area, only seven students experienced nausea after eating the food.

"We are only focused on handling and the children have now returned home. Regarding the results of the examination, we will go to the National Nutrition Agency (BGN)," he said.

Previously, Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Nanik S Deyang said that seven students were affected after eating MBG food at SMAN 15 Sunter Tanjung Priok.

The incident occurred at around 11.00 WIB when the seven students received MBG with a chicken noodle menu.

When the incident occurred, SMAN 15 received 641 MBG portions from the Kitchen of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in the Sunter area. On that day, the SPPG prepared 3,499 MBG menus for several schools.

However, after two hours when seven students of SMAN 15 ate MBG, they complained of nausea.

"At 11.00 WIB the food was eaten, after two hours the SPPG was given the news that someone was sick with nausea but no one threw up, he said there were three people," he said.
