JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo involved a number of experts and cross-field academics to provide views and input regarding the Police Reform Transformation Team.

The experts and inter-field academics participated in the acceleration meeting for the transformation of the National Police in the Satamaps Polri Pusdalsis room, Police Headquarters, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 24.

During the meeting, Sigit emphasized that the acceleration of the transformation of the National Police was a response to President Prabowo Subianto's policy. Koprs Bhayangkara will move quickly to follow up on the directive.

"When it's time we here want to fulfill public expectations and make efforts to pick up the ball. This acceleration team moves together to identify the problems faced," said Sigit, quoted on Thursday, September 25.

In addition, this meeting is a place to absorb suggestions and criticisms from various parties so that the internal police reform process runs optimally.

"Those invited to this event are figures to provide input and criticism. So that the real public perspective is absorbed by the internal reform team," added Sigit.

Not only that, Sigit also ensured that all input submitted would be seriously studied by the team. So, later it will be applied to improve the Polri institution.

"What is clear is that the police are open to all efforts to improve the institution," said Sigit.
