Ahead Of The X PPP Congress: South Papua DPW Support For Muhammad Mardiono

MERAUKE - Getting closer to the United Development Party (PPP) X Congress, support for Muhammad Mardiono continues to flow from various regions from Sabang to Merauke. This time, the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the United Development Party (PPP) of South Papua Province together with four Branch Leadership Councils (DPC) in the region officially expressed full support for Muhamad Mardiono as a Candidate for the Chairperson of the PPP DPP for the 2025'30 period.

This declaration of support was delivered on Tuesday night (23/9/2025) in Merauke, witnessed by all levels of party administrators from the DPW, DPC to PPP cadres and sympathizers throughout South Papua.

The chairman of the South Papua PPP DPW, Jaya Ibnu Su'ud, emphasized that this support was given after going through careful consideration of Muhamad Mardiono's track record and loyalty to the party.

"We consider Pak Haji Muhammad Mardiono to be a person who has high capacity, integrity, and loyalty to the party. He has proven to be able to raise PPP and lead with a spirit of unity," Ibnu Jaya told reporters.

He also emphasized that the implementation of the 10th PPP Congress which is scheduled for September 27, 2025 in Jakarta must run democratically, safely, orderly, and smoothly in accordance with the party's Articles of Association and Household Budget (AD/ART).

This declaration of support was also signed by the chairmen and secretaries of the PPP DPC throughout South Papua, namely Merauke Regency, Boven Digoel, Mappi, and Asmat. They agreed to unite votes for PPP's victory under the leadership of H. Muhammad Mardiono.

"This support is purely based on a common desire, without any coercion from any party. We hope that in the future PPP will be more solid and able to win in the upcoming elections," he added.

The declaration event closed with the enthusiasm of the cadres: 'Mardiono? Win! Win! Win! PPP? Return to Senayan!' echoing throughout the room marks a full commitment to support Muhammad Mardiono leading PPP in the next five years.
