The victim reported the incident to the Sunda Kelapa Regional Police Headquarters. After receiving the report, the police immediately conducted an investigation and succeeded in arresting the perpetrator.
"The perpetrator was arrested by personnel from the Sunda Kelapa area who were dressed as thugs. The perpetrator was arrested in an alley near the victim's boarding house," he said.
The arrest of the perpetrator was made after the police provoked him to come with documents to the victim's boarding house.
"When searched, evidence was found in the form of 8 original diploma documents, brown envelopes, black backpacks, and an OPPO A18 cellphone," he said.
As a result of his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 7 years. Currently, the police are still pursuing other perpetrators.
