JAKARTA - The Kramat Jati National Police Hospital in East Jakarta has released the results of a forensic examination of the body of a girl identified as AR (8) found in a boarding house on Arwana Pejagalan Street, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, on Sunday, September 21.

"The body, identified as AR (8), arrived at the National Police Hospital on Sunday at 5:42 a.m. WIB. The examination was conducted that same day, starting at 8:15 a.m. WIB," said the Head of the National Police Hospital's Medical and Research Division, Senior Commissioner Ahmad Fauzi, at the Kramat Jati National Police Hospital in East Jakarta on Wednesday, September 24.

He stated that the body was found in a state of decomposition and contained maggots. Furthermore, the body's face appeared drier, and there was an open wound on the head.

"The body was already in a state of decomposition. We found traces (injuries/wounds) on the right and left sides of the neck, as well as an open wound on the top of the head with blood seeping into the bone," Fauzi explained.

The examination also revealed a protrusion on the front of the left rib.

"So, on the front of the left rib, we found a protruding rib with a rough surface, which is suspected to be due to the bone healing process," said Fauzi.
