Residents Say Mother Boy Dies In Penjaringan Has Long Experienced Mental Disorders

JAKARTA - MKR (35) AR's biological mother (8) is known by local residents as a woman who has suffered from mental disorders for a long time, before getting married.

"The mental disorder has actually been around for a long time, it appears," said Arip, a local resident to reporters at the location, Monday, September 22, 2025, afternoon.

However, after treatment, MKR had recovered. Moreover, his condition has started to stabilize since meeting his husband and getting married.

"She (the victim's mother) had pressed her by way of treatment until she met the victim's father. It had started to disappear (his condition was stable)," he said.

However, after MKR separated from her husband with the initials S (44), MKR's mental condition fell again.

"I don't know why it's back in the past, it's saved again," he said.

However, AR since birth lived with MKR until he was almost 8 years old.

Even when AR was just born, AR wanted to be adopted by local residents but failed because AR's grandfather was said to have asked for up to Rp 100 million from the prospective foster parent.

The process ultimately failed, so AR was still managed by his biological mother with the initials MKR.
