A Motorcyclist On Jalan Gunung Sahari Jumps When He Sees The Fire Under The Motorcycle Jok

JAKARTA - A motorcyclist suddenly panicked after learning that there were sparks from under his motorcycle seat while crossing Jalan Gunung Sahari, precisely in front of Mangga Dua, Pademangan, North Jakarta.

The motorcyclist then quickly stopped his motorbike and jumped away from his motorbike to seek help.

But unfortunately, the flames quickly grew and scorched one unit of the motorbike he was driving without any remnant.

According to Dedi, an eye witness at the location, the motorcycle caught fire, allegedly due to an electrical short in the motorcycle cable.

"The confession of the motorcyclist, while on the road in front of Mangga Dua, he felt the heat on his motorbike seat. A few meters later, he was surprised that there was a fire under his motorbike seat. He was so panicked, he jumped from his motorbike, and after he jumped, his motorbike caught fire at that time," said Dedi when confirmed, Friday, September 19, 2025.

Then the motorcyclist had asked residents for help to be given water.

"Finally, I got water from traders but when I was doused, the fire never went out," he said.

But unfortunately, the fire destroyed his motorbike. The fire just went out after residents sprayed fire extinguishers on the victim's motorbike.

"Fortunately, Mr. RT came to the location while carrying apart and then spraying it so that the fire was finally extinguished," he said.

Even though his motorbike caught fire, the victim managed to survive and was not injured. The victim suffered losses of up to tens of millions of rupiah.
