After Prabowo Inaugurated, Coordinating Minister For Political, Legal And Security Affairs Djamari Immediately Had A Meeting With The Deputy

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam) Djamari Chaniago gathered and gave directions to his deputies on the first day serving as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.

"There is an internal meeting with all of the deputies here, how many are there, five deputies and others," Djamari said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 17.

During the meeting, Djamari discussed various problems and conditions currently being faced by the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs

Not only that, his party also talked about the steps that will be taken by the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs in coordinating with the agencies and ministries under it.

"So that we coordinate, maybe between ministries and ministries, then we coordinate and then we see a bottle neck there (a problem)," explained Djamari.

Djamari hopes that with strong coordination within and outside the ministry, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs can carry out their duties in accordance with those mandated by President Prabowo Subianto.

Previously, Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Djamari Chaniago as Coordinating Minister for Political Affairs at the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs after the position was temporarily filled by the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin.

Djamari was inaugurated by President Prabowo as the new Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs along with ministers and other deputy ministers, which were the result of the 3rd reshuffle of the Red and White Cabinet.

The ministers and other deputy ministers who were also appointed by President Prabowo today, namely Erick Thohir as Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Afriansyah Noor as Deputy Minister of Manpower, Rohmat Marzuki as Deputy Minister of Forestry, Farida Farichah as Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Angga Raka Prabowo as Head of the Indonesian Government Communications Agency.

The policy was stipulated by President Prabowo in the Presidential Decree (Keppres) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 96P of 2025 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024 '2029 Period on September 8, 2025.
