JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago revealed President Prabowo Subianto's direction to carry out his new position at this time.

With an age of 76 years as of April 2025, this retired TNI officer admitted that Prabowo was asked to use the rest of his life for the benefit of the state.

In his communication with Prabowo when he appointed him as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Djamri admitted that the Head of State asked him to prepare a protest security system so that chaos would no longer occur at the end of August.

Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Djamari Chaniago was inaugurated today by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs replacing Budi Gunawan who was hit by a reshuffle last week. This position was previously temporarily filled by the Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs ad interim.

Djamari Chaniago is the retired TNI with the last position of the Chief of General Staff of the TNI on March 8, 2000 March 16, 2004.
