East Jakarta Metro Police dismantled the mode of motor vehicle theft network (curanmor) operating by scaring victims using homemade firearms.
"We also need to convey that the perpetrators usually operate with homemade firearms and machetes. That's what makes the action very disturbing," said East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Dicky Fertoffan in Jakarta, Wednesday.
Dicky said the perpetrators usually act in the morning until the afternoon, from 09.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB.
"These perpetrators usually operate, namely in the morning between 09.00 WIB and 15.00 WIB. They carry their weapons, both homemade firearms," said Dicky.
