Children Faced With Law Involved In Murder Of Students In Ciracas Detained At Cipayung Social Institution

JAKARTA - FF (16), a child in conflict with the law, was involved in the murder of a student in Ciracas with the initials IM (23) who was detained in a child detention cell at the Handayani Cipayung Social Home, East Jakarta on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

"We entrust the perpetrator there (Sentra Handayani), there he also gets his rights as a child," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Dicky Fertoffan.

AKBP Dicky ensured that even though he was undergoing the legal process, FF could still go to school online from the Handayani Social Institution.

"Schools, access to education continues, can still take lessons, but online," he said.

Kasat said FF committed violence that made her lover lose his life. The action was carried out by FF because he felt jealous when he saw the victim's cellphone, there was a photo of another man.

"Most likely there was spontaneity. Namely, there was jealousy that occurred between the two sides," he said.

FF was charged with Article 338 and/or Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 7 years in prison.

Previously, it was reported that a woman with the initials IM (23) from NTT was found dead in a pathetic manner with several injuries in the boarding room on the 2nd floor, Jalan H. Husin, Ciracas District, East Jakarta.

When the victim was first found, there were a number of signs of violence on the body. Until finally the police managed to catch FF at his house.
