JAKARTA - From the results of the police investigation, it was known that before the victim IM was found by residents, the alleged perpetrator admitted that he had visited the victim's boarding house on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at around 23.45 WIB. At that time there was a verbal altercation between the victim IM and the perpetrator FF.

"The perpetrator was jealous of the victim who was walking with another man," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ciracas Police, Iptu Hasnan.

Then, continued Iptu Hasnan, the victim who was afraid then shouted to call Yasmin (witness) who was his neighbor.

"Because the victim screamed, the perpetrator panicked and immediately strangled the victim using both hands until the victim was weak," he said.

Furthermore, on Friday 12 September 2025 at around 11.00 WIB, the perpetrator with the initials FF returned to the victim IM's boarding house to confirm the condition of the victim.

The perpetrators of FF saw that the victim was not moving. The perpetrator then moved the position of the victim's head and covered the victim with a blanket so that it seemed as if the victim was sleeping.

The perpetrator then fled from the victim's boarding house, while closing the door to the victim's room slightly.

The victim was found by residents, then reported to the Ciracas Police. When found, the victim was face down in the boarding room on the 2nd floor.

Saturday, September 13, 2025 at around 00.15 WIB, the perpetrator who was at his residence was then arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ciracas Police for his actions.

"When interrogated by officers, the perpetrator admitted his actions that had mistreated the victim to death. The perpetrator was then taken to the Ciracas Police," he said.

A woman with the initials IM (23) from NTT was found dead tragically with several injuries in the boarding room on the 2nd floor, Jalan H.Husin, Gang Muchtar, RT 07/01, Susukan Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta.

"There were bruises on the neck of the bruises, bruises on the left eye, the victim's mouth was bleeding and the chin was bruised and the left hand was bruised," said Ciracas Police Chief Kompol Rohmad in his statement, Sunday, September 14, 2025.
