DENPASAR - President Prabowo Subianto visited flood-affected areas in Badung Regency, Bali Province, on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The presence of the Head of State is a tangible manifestation of the government's concern for the community, as well as ensuring the instructions given to the relevant ranks shortly after the incident took place.

Previously, President Prabowo had responded quickly to the disaster that hit a number of areas in Bali. By telephone on Wednesday (10/9), the Head of State directly instructed relevant agencies to move quickly to the disaster site and emphasized that the distribution of aid could be carried out quickly and on target.

The point reviewed by the President is residential areas in the Gajahmada IV alley, Banjar Kerenceng. At this point, the President saw firsthand the condition of housing that was damaged due to flooding.

By walking along a small alley that was still full of mud, the President stopped many to greet and chat with affected residents regarding the condition of family and houses when the flood occurred. To the President, residents also told the conditions that occurred when river water began to rise to enter people's homes.

In this review, the Head of State ensured that emergency measures had been carried out properly, including the distribution of aid that had to reach all affected communities. Not only the community, but the government also pays long-term attention to reducing the risk of similar disasters in the future.

The Head of State emphasized that the entire disaster management process should be carried out quickly, appropriately, and thoroughly. The President's visit to flood sites shows the government's seriousness through cross-ministerial coordination to deal with disasters by prioritizing public safety.
