Uya Kuya Cat Makes Sherina Munaf Clarified By Police For Dozens Of Hours

Polres Metro Jakarta Timur memeriksa artis Sherina Munaf untuk klarifikasi terkait unggahannya di media sosial mengenai penyelapan kucing milik anggota DPR (nonakaktif) Surya Uya Kuya selama2 jam.

Sherina arrived at the East Jakarta Police Headquarters since the morning at around 10:00 WIB accompanied by her attorney, Adit.

Sherina has just finished being questioned by the East Jakarta Police Satreskrim investigators at around 22.00 WIB and has not spoken much about the examination process since morning.

"Previously I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the East Jakarta Metro Police for accommodating everything," said Sherina Munaf's attorney, Adit, after an examination at the East Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Friday, September 12, as reported by ANTARA.

During the examination, Sherina was given several questions regarding the whereabouts of the cat belonging to presenter Uya Kuya, who had reportedly lost the age of the looting incident.

"Actually, there is no intention whatsoever from Sherina and Indira Diandra. It's just pure humanity," said Adit.

The clarification is important because the information circulating says the cat belongs to Uya Kuya, who was allegedly looted during the looting of the artist's house some time ago.

Moreover, certainty regarding the truth of the information can only be obtained through direct information from Sherina.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Dicky Fertoffan said investigators were also examining another witness who was deemed to have knowledge of the incident.

"Indeed, we have invited both of them, there is one related witness," said Dicky.

Previously, Sherina Munaf shared the latest news about the rescue of a cat belonging to Uya Kuya named Lili that had been found.

"One of the cats from Uya Kuya's house was detained and overnight I and @indiradiandra have coordinated directly with the rescuer. This morning they were picked up and now the cat is in a safe position, I'm focusing. This is only one of the possible 16-20 cats that were predicted at that location," wrote Sherina.

Sherina also described the condition of the cat that allegedly belonged to Uya Kuya.

"Condition: very thin, the bones feel really bad when they are stuck in the body. For pet owners, please help ADOPT don't SHOP as much as possible, the cat is sterile, you can't take care of it," continued Sherina's upload.

The East Jakarta Metro Police have named 12 people as suspects in the case of looting the house of a member of Commission IX of the House of Representatives (DPR) Surya Uya Kuya in the Pondok Bambu area, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, on August 30, 2025.

The suspects have their respective roles in carrying out their actions, namely as provocateurs, perpetrators of looting and assaults on officers.
