Kosan In Kemayoran Burglarized, Valuables Owned By Missing Occupants

JAKARTA - A boarding house on Jalan Kepu Dalam 8, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, was burglarized. The incident was caught on CCTV cameras and went viral on social media.

In the video, two perpetrators of the crime can be seen on Wednesday morning at around 03.05 WIB.

Then, one perpetrator was seen waiting in front of the boarding house, while his colleague was inside. While inside, the perpetrator wearing a green shirt and the hat managed to enter the boarding house.

Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Ruslan Basuki, explained that the Kemayoran Police had visited the scene.

"The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police and Bhabinkamtibmas have checked the TKP, for the victims it has been submitted to make a report," he said when contacted, Thursday, September 11, 2025.

However, until now, the victim has not made a police report. The victim was also advised to make a report to the Kemayoran Police.

"Until now the victim has not made a report," he said.

However, the Kemayoran Police are still investigating and conducting an investigation regarding the theft of the cell phone.
