SAR Team Finds 4 Bodies Of Flood Victims In Tukad Badung Bali

The joint SAR team found four victims who died as a result of the floods that hit Denpasar City and a number of other flood points.

Head of Denpasar Search and Rescue Office I Nyoman Sidakarya said the search was focused along the starting points of the incident to the Tukad Badung Reservoir estuary, Badung Market area, Kumbasari and Denpasar City.

The SAR team received information that there were two bodies in Tukad Badung. When the team evacuated, two other bodies were found.

"The four victims found were women. Then they were taken to Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, Denpasar, using (4) ambulances for identification," said Sidakarya, Thursday, September 11.

In one of the bodies, there was a small bag with a savings and loan cooperative card in the name of Nyoman Sari.

"For his identity, we are waiting for the results from Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, to avoid confusing information," he said.
