Jakarta Weather Thursday 11 September, Rain Even From Afternoon To Night

JAKARTA The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that all areas of DKI Jakarta will experience rain on Thursday, September 11 afternoon until the evening. In the morning, the entire area is predicted to be thick cloudy, while during the day most areas will experience light rain.

North Jakarta is expected to experience rain accompanied by lightning during the day. Meanwhile, West Jakarta from afternoon to night only received light rain, while other areas have the potential for rain accompanied by lightning until the evening.

The air temperature in DKI Jakarta ranges from 23 to 30 degrees Celsius with wind speeds of 1.17 kilometers per hour.

BMKG reminded the public to be aware of the potential for extreme weather, including heavy rain which can be accompanied by lightning, strong winds, and puddles of water at a number of points.

"We urge the public to remain vigilant, especially when doing activities outside the room. Be careful when driving when it rains heavily, and avoid taking shelter under trees or billboards," said the BMKG's official statement.

BMKG also asked people living in flood-prone areas to increase their vigilance and monitor the latest weather information through the official BMKG channel.
