9 Residents Died Due To Bali Flood

The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), said 9 people died from flooding on the island of Bali.

"The results of the rapid assessment of flood emergency management in Bali Province, as of today, Wednesday (10/9) at 18.45 WIB, as many as 9 people were found dead, 2 people missing and as many as 202 families or 620 people affected," said Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center Abdul Muhari, Wednesday, September 10.

This flood-affected area includes 6 regencies or cities, namely Denpasar City, Jembrana Regency, Gianyar Regency, Klungkung Regency, Badung Regency, and Tabanan Regency.

Data on details of the discovery and search for victims including in Denpasar City, there were 5 victims who died and 2 people were missing, 2 people died in Jembrana Regency with a total of 103 families or 200 people affected.

In Gianyar Regency 1 person died, in Badung Regency 1 person died.

Meanwhile, Klungkung Regency recorded 99 families or 420 affected people, and Tabanan Regency is still in the process of collecting data.

"As a result of the flood, some residents were also forced to evacuate because their homes were still flooded," he explained.

As for the details, including in Jembrana Regency, 85 people were displaced by spreading in a number of posts, including Yeh Kuning Village Hall, Banjar Yeh Kuning Hall, Assidiqie prayer room, and Darul Musthofa prayer room.

Meanwhile, in Denpasar City, there are 108 displaced people spread across SD 25 Pemecutan, Banjar Sedana Merta Ubung, and Banjar Dakdakan Peguyangan.
