JAKARTA The National Witness Board of the Golkar Party (BSNPG) officially inaugurated the new management for the 2024 period 2029 at a simple but meaningful event at Resto Pangeran Mudo, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, September 10.

The inauguration and briefing was led directly by the Head of BSNPG, Syahmud Basri Ngabalin.

In his remarks, Syahmud emphasized that BSNPG comes in a different style, prioritizing simplicity without losing quality.

"We did make this inauguration as simple as possible, without having to know or be full of ceremonies. The most important thing is not luxury, but the spirit of togetherness and enthusiasm to move the organization," said Syahmud.

He also emphasized the importance of changing the way of thinking within the Golkar Party in order to be able to face the challenges of the times. According to him, BSNPG is not only a matter of technical escorting witnesses at TPS, but also a forum for discussing ideas to strengthen democracy.

Our democracy is increasingly expensive, both in the legislative, regional elections, and presidential elections. This is a serious challenge that we must think about together," he added.

In addition, Syahmud reminded the importance of community participation in using the right to vote to maintain the quality of democracy and minimize opportunities for vote manipulation.

"Enassuring the public to exercise their right to vote is an important task. The right to vote is not only the right, but the obligation," he said.

This event is also the initial momentum for the preparation of the BSNPG strategic agenda in the future.

Based on the Golkar Party DPP Decree Number Skep-104 / DPP / GOLKAR / VIII / 2025, Syahmud determined the management structure for the 2024 period 2029 with a number of directorates, work teams, and secretariats ready to carry out their duties for the next five years.
