JAKARTA - A single accident was experienced by a box car loaded with convection equipment and sewing threads on Jalan Matraman Raya, Matraman District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, September 9, 2025. As a result, traffic around the scene experienced congestion.

According to Purnomo, the truck driver, he fell because the road was slippery when he avoided the Avanza car in front of him.

"Earlier, it was raining. Then it hit the barrier, overturned," Purnomo told reporters.

He admitted that he was forced to throw the steering wheel to the left side to avoid falling victim.

"If you throw it here (right) there is a car, later there will be a victim, so throw it to the left," he said.

The box car with the number B 9108 JZM driven by Purnomo, is said to be traveling in standard speed conditions.

"It's not speeding, if it's fast, I rolled around. At first, I wanted to deliver convection tools and sewing threads to the Jatinegara area," he said.

There were no casualties, while the box car was taken to the East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Laka Unit for further inspection.
