West Java Police Chief Disbursed The Motive For The Murder Of 5 Family Members In Indramayu

JAKARTA - The West Java (West Java) Regional Police (Kepolda) revealed the motive for the perpetrators with the initials P and Rhash killed five people in a family infeasibilityman Village, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency, because they were hurt by one of the victims, Budi Awaludin.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Pol. Hendra Rochmawan explained that the incident began when R rented Budi's car. However, when he was about to be returned, the car broke down and R then protested to the victim and asked for his money back.

"But Budi refused on the grounds that the money had been used for shopping for basic necessities. Feeling annoyed, R then planned a murder by inviting P," said Hendra in Bandung, Tuesday, as quoted by Antara.

Hendra explained that on Wednesday, August 27, perpetrator R lured P Rp100 million to kill the victim and ordered R to buy a runway which would later be used to bury the body.

Furthermore, in the early hours of Friday, August 29, R invited Budi to work together in the cooking oil business. Under the pretext of showing the warehouse, R hit Budi's head using an iron pipe to the ground.

After Budi was helpless, R entered another room and hit Sachroni, then attacked Euis Juwita and her son RA (7), who was sleeping, to death.

"While P drowned baby B victim in the bathtub. After finishing the victim, both of them took IDR 7 million in cash and three cellphones, one of which belonged to Budi who was used by R," said Hendra.

After that, the two perpetrators took the victim's car and had time to stay at a hotel in Jatibarang. The looted gold was also sold by P for Rp. 3 million, then used to buy tarpaulins.

In the early hours of Saturday, August 30, the bodies of the five victims were dragged using tarpaulins into the backyard and buried in one hole.

They then tidied up the house, took the victim's car, and threw the iron pipe into the Cimanuk River, Hendra's eyes.

Furthermore, Hendra explained that during the escape, the two perpetrators moved to Semarang, Demak, Surabaya, and returned to Indramayu.

They finally returned to Kedokanbunder District, Indramayu, with plans to go to sea as crew members. But the escape ended after the police arrested the two on Monday, September 8 at 02.30 WIB," said Hendra.

For their actions, P and R were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning premeditated murder with the threat of death, life imprisonment, or 20 years in prison, and Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraph (3) of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection with a threat of 15 years in prison.
