JAYAPURA - Military Police Commander of Kodam XVII Cenderawasih Col. CPM Laksono Puji Lisdyanto stated that a TNI officer, Captain Inf J, who allegedly shot Praka Edison Muenda on Sunday, September 7 in Kali Pandang 2, Waris District, Keerom Regency, had been arrested.
"The suspected perpetrator of the shooting who is a member of the TNI has been secured at the XVII Cenderawasih Mapomdam in Jayapura," Laksono told Antara, Sunday night.
Laksono explained that his party was still waiting for a complete report from the ranks in the field to find out the cause of the incident that killed the member of Kodim 1715 Yahukimo.
"We are still waiting for a complete report from the members, but what is certain is that the suspect has been arrested for examination," he said.
