Kemnaker Receives 2,897 THR Reports Until The Day Before Eid

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) received 2,897 reports related to holiday allowances (THR) 2021 ahead of the payment dispensation limit, which is the day before Lebaran (H-1).

Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah mentioned that from 2,897 reports that went to the Post THR 2021 Kemnaker in the period 20 April 2021-12 May 2021, consisted of 692 consultations and 2,205 complaints.

"From the data after we do verification and validation by looking at aspects of data completeness, also see the duplication of complaints and reps that make complaints, obtained complaint data amounting to 977," said Menaker Ida quoted Antara, Wednesday, May 12.

The consultation that went to thr post in the center was mostly concerning five issues, namely the search for information about THR for workers who resigned, the completion of the employment contract period, which is homed, thr calculation for workers whose wages are adjusted during the pandemic, and workers who have partnership status such as online transportation services.

While the majority of complaint issues are thr's squeak by the company, THR is paid 50 percent, THR is not paid in full because of a pay cut, is not paid one month's salary, and is not paid at all because of the impact of COVID-19.

For these complaints, Kemnaker has taken steps, such as verifying and validating data and information, coordinating with the Employment Office in the region, lowering the employment supervisory team, and formulating recommendations for sanctions against non-compliance.

According to Ida, the plan after Eid al-Fitr will conduct a coordination meeting with all heads of the Employment Office in Indonesia to evaluate the payment of THR 2021.

"Full and timely THR payments will have an impact on the national economic recovery. Therefore, the government gives the highest appreciation to companies that have fulfilled their obligation to pay THR," said Ida.

Previously, Menaker Ida has issued a circular requiring the payment of THR in full no later than H-7 before Lebaran.

Companies still affected by COVID-19 must have dialogue with workers based on transparent financial statements to reach an agreement. Thr payment dispensation for companies affected by the pandemic is the day before Eid al-Fitr.
