The Sumatran Tiger Is Stabbed By Farmers In West Lampung.

The Sumatran tiger in the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS) again pounced on a farmer named Amir (45), a resident of Pekon (Village) Tiga Jaya, Sekincau District.

Peratin (Village Head) Pekon (Village) Tiga Jaya, Sekincau District, Subandi, confirmed that one of its residents named Amir, was a victim of the ferocity of the Sumatran tiger.

"Yes, that's right, last Friday's incident at around 16.00 WIB at Pemangku Talang Medina, Pekon Tiga Jaya. The victim suffered serious head injuries due to a sudden attack from wild animals," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 6.

He appealed to the public to be more vigilant and reduce activities alone in the garden after the incident.

"We ask residents to remain careful. In the meantime, if possible, do not do activities alone in the garden. This is for our safety together," he said.

According to him, the incident occurred when victim Amir and his son were on their way home from his garden.

The victim and her child were suddenly attacked by a tiger from behind. The animal immediately pounced on the victim's head until both of them fell. Spontaneously the victim screamed loudly, until finally the tiger ran away from the location," he said.

After hearing screams from the victim and her child, local residents immediately came to help and took Amir to the Puskesmas to get medical help.

Meanwhile, one of the medical personnel at the Sekincau Health Center, Indra, said that the victim suffered injuries to the head and back due to a tiger bite, currently Amir's condition is quite stable despite serious injuries.
