60 Suspects Of Attacking The Jakut Police Headquarters Claim To Get Invitations From Flyers On Social Media

The North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim continues to investigate the attack on the North Jakarta Police Headquarters a few days ago.

As many as 60 people have been named as suspects.

From the results of the examination, 60 people admitted that they were desperate to attack the North Jakarta Metro Police based on the invitation to circulate a flyer on social media.

"So far (the confession of 60 suspects) has been provoked by calls on social media. 60 suspects are adults," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar when confirmed, Friday, September 5, 2025.

The determination of the 60 suspects was carried out after the police conducted an examination and a case title.

"Yes, we have detained 60 suspects. We have detained them and followed the further investigation process," he said.

The suspects of the attack, who were arrested by the police, were desperate to attack the North Jakarta Police Headquarters after seeing the spread of the flyer on social media.

"In their opinion, it is because of the flyer that was distributed. They are targeting it at the Resort Police and there is also a traffic post near the Resort Police that is damaged," he said.

Currently, the police are still investigating the intellectual actors behind the attack that led to riots in front of the North Jakarta Metro Police office.

Previously, it was reported that the North Jakarta Metro Police arrested 70 people who were seen in the attack at their office on Monday, September 1, 2025. The attack was carried out on Saturday, August 30 until last Sunday, August 31, 2025.
