Monday Morning Jakarta Inner Toll Road Closed, Contraflow Abolished

JAKARTA A number of Toll gates in Jakarta are temporarily closed on Monday, September 1 morning. The closure is applied in two directions at once, both to Pluit and to Cawang, based on official information from PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk.

Through the official account X @ptjasamarga, Jasa Marga announced the closure of access to the Kuningan 1 Toll Gate (GT) and GT Slipi 1 towards Pluit since 05.30 WIB. Access entry to GT Kuningan 1 and GT Slipi 1 direction Pluit is temporarily closed. Please use alternative routes," Jasa Marga wrote.

Meanwhile, for the direction of Cawang, the closure was in place at GT Slipi, GT Pejompongan, and GT Semanggi 2. The public is advised to plan an early trip and find alternative routes to avoid congestion.

However, traffic on other toll roads is still relatively normal. Jasa Marga said that the flow of vehicles on the Jagorawi Toll Road, starting from Cawang, TMII, Cibubur, Bogor to Ciawi, both in the direction of Jakarta and the opposite direction, was monitored smoothly.

Until this news was published, there had been no official explanation regarding the reasons for the temporary closure of a number of toll gates. However, this step is referred to as part of a traffic regulation that is coordinated with the police.

In addition to closing toll gates, traffic contraflow engineering from Halim to Senayan was also canceled this morning. On police discretion, contraflow traffic engineering (Halim km 01+300 Senayan km 08+100) on the Inner City Toll Road is abolished," explained Jasa Marga.
