Mobs Storm Sahroni's House, Damage Cars, And Loot Property

JAKARTA - A mob stormed the home of NasDem legislator Ahmad Sahroni in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. According to circulating video footage, the raid took place on Saturday, August 30th. The mob surrounded the House of Representatives member's home.

Furthermore, the mob, whose origins are unknown, also caused damage. They threw rocks at the house, causing the windows to break.

The mob also managed to break through the fence of the house. They forced their way in and vandalized property. The video also shows several people attempting to calm the mob. However, the unstoppable mob continued their destruction.

One example involved a parked car. The mob smashed the rear window and the right and left sides of the four-wheeled vehicle.

In fact, other video footage shows the mob looting everything in the house.

Several people who tried to prevent the mob from destroying and looting the house were unable to withstand the mob's continued advance.

The vandalism itself was widely shared on various social media platforms. Several accounts even broadcast it live.

Sahroni had already been in the spotlight when he was still Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI). He had previously called those who called for or criticized the dissolution of the DPR (House of Representatives) stupid.

"People who just shout and say to disband the DPR are the stupidest people in the world," Sahroni said.
